Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: @twitblacklist I like @jakemarsh & find a fair number of his tweets useful; but with 61,000/13,000 ratio, I imagine he maddens many. Thanks!

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: @twitblacklist Great! Spammers and misdirection. But I also sent @OneCampaign an email, saying it not great form to follow no one. But...

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: Researching & testing Qualitative Research apps. Looking for good apps that will work on MacOSX; but sorting thru WinXP opts as well.

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: @ruby Twitter version is suppose to stay alive @nprpolitics Sounds like they ran into some political trouble.

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: @spigot If you are using Coda, you can create a better system. See http://linkbun.ch/bi4 (2 EE links). About live edits and previews.

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: @twitblacklist How do you handle 'false positives'. Twits like @OneCampaign and @jakemarsh ? Can people be removed from list?

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: @ntenhross, @08NTC Looks like http://twitter.com/08NTC was hijacked. May want to delete 'jacked content'. ID'd tweets calling you spammers.

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: @jeffbundy http://twitter.com/08NTC was an official Twitter account for the nonprofit technology conference. Looks like account was hijacked

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: @btucker Solution. {exp:replace find="/@(w+)/" replace="@<a href='http://twitter.com/$1'>$1</a>" regex="yes"}text{/exp:repl ...

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: Started @block_spam In our daily search for nonprofit topics & interest, when we come across deceptive links/spams, we will report here.

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: @melisseus Try http://www.philanthropy.iupui.edu/PremiumServices/podcasts.aspx as well, may want to subscribe direct.

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: @melisseus Also Healthcare 411 on health. Go to iTunes, search on topic, then select podcasts. There are a number of nonprofit podcasts.

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: @melisseus The Center for Philanthropy out of Indiana Univ, has a podcast: http://tinyurl.com/6qfs5w (iTunes link).

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: @StaceyMonk And lastly, there are scripts that can be added directly to your website to handle the process. PHP & Perl Scripts exist.

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: @StaceyMonk But if you are looking for free. Find a site you like, and that allows your own images. Create an account under nonprofit name.

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: @StaceyMonk NP Action http://tinyurl.com/3fkmtn has a good story on how the Humane Society used eCards. They used GetActive, now Convio.

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: @StaceyMonk In terms of who its from, your name or the nonprofit. Most eCards allow you to decide. Care2 and Convio offer eCards, not free.

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: @StaceyMonk Automation would most likely require an API that connects to your web-based donation software. Name and email need to be sent.

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: @StaceyMonk Do you mean automatically send? Also, are your saying 'send the card as if you were someone else, not the nonprofit?'

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: @abdur Not really any different from other spam; except growing nonprofit Twitter population, actively consuming links, not always wisely.

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: @abdur Take a look @fruit5843 post http://tinyurl.com/6nzcot, you'll note the text is geared toward nonprofit/social responsible interests.

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: @abdur Typically, I don't see much spam on twitter. But I tag & summize 'nonprofit', I've been noticing spammers targeting nonprofit users.

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: Anyone using WebKit-SVN-r32698.dmg, 29 April 08 Build. I believe it added reflections and masking. Trying to determine whether to install.

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: Ughh, forgot. Downloaded a number of info mgmt apps last week, and haven't tested any, yet. But my color coded, sticky index cards rock!!

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: @eladyland Sounds like a progressive rollout. I'll test. PS. Did you see Ben Tucker's report on Halo security? http://tinyurl.com/3remfv

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: @btucker error looks like: preg_replace() [function.preg-replace]: Unknown modifier '@' in /path/to/plugins/pi.replace.php on line 72

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: ...with you're code {exp:replace find="s/@(w+)" replace="<a href="http://twitter.com/$1">@$1</a>/g" regex="yes"} text{/ ...

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: @btucker Thanks! I'm getting parse errors. The plugin functions like {exp:replace find="w+" replace="*" regex="yes"}text{/exp:replace} ...

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: Any RegEx experts out there? Need an expresssion that will turn @user into a proper Twitter link, when not on Twitter. I slay regex w/typos.

Small Logo Imagenonprofit_tech: ... I'm sure Twitter has tons of spammers, these are just a few, I noticed targeting the nonprofit sector, so NPOs be AWARE.

@linktastic: Not Sean ‘Puffy’ Combs, just a marketer. Links aren’t purely deceptive, the topic is specific, if ad based.

@googlesense: Most likely, NOT Sergey Brin of Google. Links are not deceptive. They just link to paid advertising on topic.

Clicking on the above links will take you the block user page on Twitter.
